From Hive to Jar
How a harvest becomes a jar.
No proprietary machinery — just bloom, bees, and patience.
The Bloom
California plants begin flowering across the foothills and valley — clover, toyon, wildflowers, and more. Each bloom begins a potential harvest.
The Bees
Honey bees forage across the surrounding landscape, visiting the flowers in bloom and carrying nectar back to the hive. We tend them gently — only ethical, peaceful beekeeping, with the bees' wellbeing always first.
The Nectar
Different flowers create different nectar flows. The character of the honey is decided here, by what's blooming.
The Harvest
Surplus honey is gently harvested from the colonies — only what the bees can spare, and never at their expense.
Kept Raw
The honey remains raw and unfiltered. We never use heat on our honey, and the natural pollen stays in.
Bottled
Honey is placed into glass jars, by hand.
The Jar
The customer gets honey that still reflects that particular California harvest.
