Our Policies
Pick-up, returns, and the nature of raw honey.
Clear and upfront — so you know what to expect.
Pick-Up Options
Orders are placed and paid for through the website. You choose your pick-up method and time when ordering.
Pick-up types may include farm pick-up, farmers-market pick-up, event pick-up, or other approved pick-up locations.
Farm Pick-Up
Farm pick-up takes place at 9840 Victory Ave, Oakdale, CA 95361.
Customers must arrive during their selected pick-up window. A 20-minute grace period may be provided for late arrival.
If the customer does not arrive within the pick-up window and the grace period, the order may be considered forfeited. No refund is provided for a missed pick-up.
Please do not wander the property, enter private areas, open gates, or approach animals. Arrive only at your scheduled time and follow the pick-up instructions. Children, pets, and guests should remain with you.
Market Pick-Up
Customers selecting farmers-market pick-up must arrive during that market's scheduled hours.
If you're running late, we may hold the order until the market closes. Once the market ends, an unclaimed order is considered forfeited, and no refund is provided for the missed pick-up.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
You may reschedule a pick-up by contacting Chrisman Apiaries at least 24 hours in advance.
Orders canceled or missed with less than 24 hours' notice are not refundable.
If Chrisman Apiaries cancels an order or makes an error, we will work with you to resolve it.
All Sales Are Final
Because we sell food products, all sales are final. Refunds are generally provided only when Chrisman Apiaries makes an error or cancels an order.
The following are not defects: natural crystallization, natural color differences, natural texture differences, flavor variation between harvests, and personal taste preference. These are normal characteristics of real honey.
Natural Honey Variation
Real raw honey naturally varies in color, thickness, flavor, aroma, texture, and crystallization speed — the result of floral source, season, weather, harvest timing, and storage. This is evidence that honey is an agricultural product, not something manufactured to stay identical forever.
Food Safety
Never feed honey to children under 12 months of age.
Bee pollen and other bee products may cause allergic reactions in individuals sensitive to pollen, bees, or bee products. Consult a healthcare professional with any concerns.
We make no claims that any product diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents disease.
