Wild Blackberry (Rubus) bramble bloom
Blackberry Honey
Bramble bloom honey — coming harvest 2027
Size
Each spring the wild blackberry brambles bloom in a narrow window along the Sierra foothills, and the bees work the white blossoms hard before the canes leaf out. Blackberry (bramble) honey is a deep amber varietal with a faintly berry-like sweetness and a smooth, lingering finish. It is a rare, single-bloom harvest — small in volume and never guaranteed. We expect to bottle a limited lot in the 2027 season, weather and bloom permitting.

Worth the drive every time
Worth the drive every time. I come up from Stockton specifically for this one. The berry depth is unlike any honey I have tasted before!

A lovely dark honey
A lovely dark honey with subtle but unmistakable berry notes. A couple friends were unsure at first, but everyone came around once they tried it with a sharp cheese. Great with red wine too.

Good but very intense
Good but very intense. The berry flavor is bold and earthy. A thin drizzle is all you need, and it stands up to strong foods really well.
