Wildflower & chaparral bloom
Honeycomb Squares
Honey straight from the frame, square by square.
Size
Honeycomb is honey exactly as the bees made it. We cut squares of capped comb straight from the frame and pack them whole; nothing is extracted, filtered, or warmed. The comb itself is entirely edible; spread it on warm bread, let it melt over cheese, or eat it in thin slices. Comb sections are cut by hand, so each square varies a little in weight and shape from the cappings and cell angle. Because a single hive yields only a few frames of sellable comb each season, these squares are limited and seasonal.

Great addition to my board
Great addition to my board, and the squares look beautiful next to the cheeses. The first time I served it guests were hesitant, but they always go for the comb first now and ask where I found it.

Worth the drive
Worth the drive. We came up from Sacramento and grabbed three squares. The first one was gone before we made it home. Now we hide the other two!

Heaven on a cracker
Heaven on a cracker. The comb just melts on your tongue with the bread and cheese. This is what a proper cheese board is missing.
