Mixed California wildflowers
Raw Bee Pollen
Collected the natural way.
Size
Bee pollen is gathered by honey bees from the flowering plants they visit, brought back to the hive as a nutrient-dense food for the colony. We collect it the natural way, in small amounts, with bee-conscious harvesting. It is floral, earthy, and lightly sweet — sprinkle a little onto yogurt, smoothies, or granola.

How to take & store your pollen
A few simple habits keep raw bee pollen at its most nutritious. Treat it like the raw, living food it is.
Start small
Begin with a few granules the first day to check for any pollen sensitivity, then work up to a quarter teaspoon over the first week.
Build your serving
Most people settle on about one teaspoon a day — roughly a generous pinch, or one to two tablespoons for those using it as a stamina food.
Take it your way
Sprinkle over yogurt, oatmeal, or fruit; blend into a smoothie; dissolve slowly under the tongue; or simply chew the granules on their own.
Morning is best
Pollen is gently energizing, so take it earlier in the day. Skip it close to bedtime, especially while your body first adjusts.
Storing it well
Refrigerator
Up to 1 yearKeep the jar sealed and dry. Cold slows the natural breakdown of enzymes, so granules stay fresh-tasting and nutrient-dense for roughly a year chilled.
Freezer
2 years or longerFreezing pauses the enzymes almost entirely, preserving vitamins and amino acids the longest. Scoop what you need with a dry spoon and return the jar at once; condensation is the enemy.
Countertop
A few monthsFine in a cool, dark cupboard, though heat and light quietly age the pollen. For the longest life and brightest flavor, the fridge or freezer is best.
Shelf life is a guide, not a guarantee — raw pollen never really spoils in the way cooked food does, but its color, aroma, and freshness fade fastest in heat and light.

Love the local source
Love the local source, and you can taste the valley wildflowers in every granule. The flavor grew on me over the first week. The color is a gorgeous mix of gold and amber. 🐝

So incredibly fresh
So incredibly fresh. The grains are multicolored, gold and orange and a deep reddish amber, which tells you it is the real thing. No two spoonfuls look exactly alike.
